Memorial Day Weekend

Over the weekend I didn’t do much. I went to my uncle’s house to celebrate his birthday. On Monday my uncle took me to Denny’s because he lost a bet from a soccer game. I watched the soccer game on Monday Chivas vs Tigres while we had a barbeque and chilled at my aunt’s house for the rest of the day. On Memorial Day I donated money for a homeless man and women so they can eat and enjoy their meal. We all had a good time and enjoyed ourselves for the rest of the day. On that same day we went to the Compton Fair with my parents and my cousins, it was pretty boring because most of the rides were mostly for little kids and I didn’t like the fair.

It means that you have to let things go even if it hurts you a lot that you don’t even feel like forgiving ever in your life. If anything happens that hurts you such as misery, you should forgive, because it won’t help you and the other’s health. Memorial Day is when we celebrate and honor those soldiers who’ve died and served us to this day. It is celebrated on the last Monday in the month of May. couple ways of honoring those that served us, make a thank you letter for their service and for risking their lives for our country and or have a moment of silence.

It means to do right everywhere and every time wherever and however. I was dared to do many foolish things because I had foolish friends and always was dared to do stupid things like ding dong ditch and was usually caught by someone in my neighborhood. I was dared to do many worse things like steal from a candy shop, they told me to steal chocolate bars, gummy bears, bubblegum and lollipops. I was dared to do more things but they did it because I was sweet talked that they would call me the most daring one in the neighborhood, I actually thought about , to keep doing it but I realized that I’m only putting dirt all over my parent’s name and forgetting that I’m a good person and not a little pesky rat only looking for trouble. I told my friends that I really don’t care because I was raised really well and not in the streets like them, always doing harmful, selfish, and stupid things that will only cause trouble.
