You really do go far with CTR that's why you have to be in the CTR team in order to succeed in life and in your future. Only you have the power to chose. All I can say is to chose wisely because I mistake can be your last and you won't like it if you chose the wrong decision

The things I liked about the class was the SSS of the day and the videos of the day as well. The little things in this class is what makes it memorable. 

The thing I didn't like about this class was when I had to constantly move seats. I recommend myself to do my work and not cuss in the class because you'll get your privileges taken away and have to do book work instead, trust me you won't like it. 

My class highlight was when I first got in the class and really liked it so much, I met new people, wise people that helped me along the way up to date. This person helped me the most before I started my year here at h.p.i.a.m, and her name is Mirella Herrera, she will forever be my admirer. Now my mentality changed knowing that she has finished her year here. She's been my guide, I've been her admirer and my best friend and I think that she's best friend you can actually have. 

I didn't really try 1st semester but in the beginning of 2nd semester I slacked off for a bit but I struggled to get the passing grade but when you chose the right anything is possible. I have a B for this class and it feels good to CTR. 

I kind of don't really read my Life Planning Goals because I get stuck in the house doing either doing my homework or doing my chores. I read it when I have time.

I'm committed  to being a CTR person because it gives you the freedom than when you CTW .

The ULTIMATE CHOICE is to CHOOSE THE RIGHT because we have to do the right thing no matter when, where, how or at what time but you have to always do what's right because it will bring many things such as peace, love, friendships, bonds and harmony to your world because after all we create our own community and decide whether we want to have good and peaceful community or rather have a chaotic community both around us and in school community. Now I have learned throughout my experiences here in Mr.Haymore’s class, I’ve learned so much and appreciate what he has taught me because I would always make incorrect choices like stealing, cheating, disobeying, being disrespectful to others to cause little harm to others. But now, I learned how to become a CTR and committed myself to do the right thing though there won’t be any rewards but the only reward I’ll ever need is to be happy and be peaceful. I would rate myself like a 96% CTR and 4% CTW. I can improve more to make myself a TRUE CTR PERSON.

Memorial Day Weekend

Over the weekend I didn’t do much. I went to my uncle’s house to celebrate his birthday. On Monday my uncle took me to Denny’s because he lost a bet from a soccer game. I watched the soccer game on Monday Chivas vs Tigres while we had a barbeque and chilled at my aunt’s house for the rest of the day. On Memorial Day I donated money for a homeless man and women so they can eat and enjoy their meal. We all had a good time and enjoyed ourselves for the rest of the day. On that same day we went to the Compton Fair with my parents and my cousins, it was pretty boring because most of the rides were mostly for little kids and I didn’t like the fair.

It means to do right everywhere and every time wherever and however. I was dared to do many foolish things because I had foolish friends and always was dared to do stupid things like ding dong ditch and was usually caught by someone in my neighborhood. I was dared to do many worse things like steal from a candy shop, they told me to steal chocolate bars, gummy bears, bubblegum and lollipops. I was dared to do more things but they did it because I was sweet talked that they would call me the most daring one in the neighborhood, I actually thought about , to keep doing it but I realized that I’m only putting dirt all over my parent’s name and forgetting that I’m a good person and not a little pesky rat only looking for trouble. I told my friends that I really don’t care because I was raised really well and not in the streets like them, always doing harmful, selfish, and stupid things that will only cause trouble.

It’s better to stand alone than in bad company because if you still hang out with the wrong crowd you’ll have a bad influence by those that don’t know what’s right and wrong. I had many friends that I used to hang out with but they would do stupid things when they got out of school and during school, they would talk crap to the teachers, staff, bully other students and the younger ones as well, I chose to tell them to stop their cruelty and stood alone for a while because I hung out with them for at most 4 months, and had to deal with the same crap daily. I left the crowd and, really, it is WAY better to stand alone than in bad company.

Phillip Riggs 4 Success Tips

These tips are going to be really useful later in life or maybe in a couple minutes or so. I know that I have done almost all of them except working hard in school because I felt that I can’t do nothing anymore because we have a week and a half or so, so now I may have to take summer school and pass a couple classes. I can apply the other tips to daily life because I’m going to live off of them, my passion is caring for animals and my other passion is soccer, I am really interested in veterinary and want to become a dog specialist. I wouldn’t do it for the amount of money but for the animals because it feels good when you care about others than yourself. Example, if someone gives weed to smoke, but you’re a person of good deeds, but you want to fit in with the cool kids, you have to smoke to be in the crowd. Just say no because you are a CTR person and you have to be both drug free and alcohol free. I was put in that spot many times, since elementary, I wanted to fit in with a group of kids, they were bad, the got in fights every week and always got suspended. They told me that if I wanted to fit in I had to do bad and everything will be alright. I was told to break a window and record myself doing it, they saw it and didn’t believe it. So I told them why am I going to try to not be my normal self and do good because it’s good, when you do bad you always get suspended and if not in lots of trouble with either at school ar with your parents. I talk with them but don’t hang out with them at all because I know that they are a bad influence for me and going to affect my future.

On the other hand, if you do what's right there is always good consequences every time you do good because good is never bad and bad is never good. Example, me, I cheated in multiple quizzes and pop up test, you don’t learn because you haven’t done the problems yourself and learned from your mistakes, I was called on many times to answer many problems that I cheated on, I looked all confused and acted how to do the problem, but in reality I was clueless, because I cheated my way for the good grade. I could’ve had failed the many tests honestly instead of getting the good grade by cheating. I’ve learned a lot from my mistakes and learned a lot academically and morally.

It means to do right no matter how, when or where you always have to do right because it’s right and you will always feel good about yourself and always feel good that you did the right thing. Like the kid, he was going to win the G.P.A but he didn’t realize that he had more than 14 golf clubs in his bag, so he disqualified himself because he plays fair, knows what’s right and follows the rules. I know I was in his shoes a couple times and believe me it feels great to do whats right, you just feel like doing it more and more until it’s just a habit of doing it. Example, I had my allowance saved under my cabinet and went out to go spend it on new clothes because I almost grew out of all of them, I decided to go to the mall with my parents and siblings. We ate and then we walked through lots of stores. I had 200$ saved from working hard at work and from the extra change my dad lets me keep for school, i found a young adult, without an arm and a leg, he was mute and deaf he always had a little piece of cardboard and wrote “I have no money, I don’t have a home and don’t have nothing to eat.” i had only spent 130$, so i decided to buy him a good meal and give him the rest of the money that I was going to spend on myself when I can donate to those that are more needy than I was. He was shedding tears of happiness and enjoyed his meal and gave me a hug. After that act of generosity I felt really good and proud that I just helped a needy person.

I had that issue many times with my parents, I lied, gave them my word of honor and lied in their faces more than 6 times at least. Now I’m giving it my all at school and now are trusting me and rewarding me with new soccer cleats and more freedom. I WILL keep the word of honor to show that I’m trustworthy. I feel like if like got a bit more easier because I’ve been doing my chores even the most complicated ones or the ones that I don’t like, but I have to do it, in their return their trust.

I went to a to a tuti fruity by Pacific and found a 50$ bill outside the shop, I said to myself, with that money i can buy a big cup with a lot of toppings, then i saw a lady looking through her purse and the lady asked the cashier if she had change for a 50 $ bill, she said yes and she looked in her pockets and they were empty, I told her that I found a 50 $ bill outside the store and she felt relieved and thanked me many times, she told me that for my act of kindness and generosity she will pay for my cup and after, we went our own separate ways. We both felt good because when you do good you feel good, and she felt good because she found her money and because she bought a children a cup of ice-cream. I came home and questioned myself, Why don’t  people do right, it WILL make them feel good about themselves and about that they did it so then I answered, that's the way of the world.

Example me, I wanted to become a soccer player I too had some obstacles in achieving this dream and goal, like poverty, family issues or it was that my parents can’t take me because of work. Like when you get out after school and you want to hang out with your friends and get drunk to the max to the point you throw up and pass out. Or if you say yes then that means that you will let yourself get screwed by your “friends” but then later in life you will regret making that decision.

Example, it has happened to me tons of times like the time I went to the store and bought some beers for my uncle and his buddies and went on to buying them, so I opened one of them to drink a little bit because I saw many of them drinking at my uncle's house so I drank one and I did not like the taste and the smell of it. When I went to give it to my uncle saw that one of the beers are open and I told him that I did what was told, buy the beers and give them to you. I had that little guilt of not telling him the full truth and this happened 5 days ago and I still haven't told him the truth about the beer I opened.
