Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving day

Prayers of thanks and special thanksgiving ceremonies are common among almost all religions. For more than twenty years, thanksgiving were celebrated by individual colonies and states. It wasn’t until 1863, in the Civil War, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed a national Thanksgiving Day to be held each November.Thanksgiving is a day of being grateful for what we have and give our blessings to the family and friends. The family gather's in a table full of good homemade food, especially turkey and mashed potatoes.

If you’re honest it will never fail on you.To be a CTR person you have to be 100% honest. When you’re honest you feel good and when you’re not, well you can have major regrets about your acts and would wish to go back and told the truth. Example: I was always dishonest, not choosing the right and one day I was stealing toy cars 8 years ago, i was caught stealing and they caught me and the manager asked me if i bought those cars, I said “YES”, then he held me by the hand and took me with my parents and told them that i was shoplifting toy cars and asked them the same question about the cars and they replied “NO”. I didn’t know what to tell my parents after what happened at the store but had to apologize and had to pay consequences which were to clean the whole store.

Veterans Day is a public holiday in which every year we celebrate an anniversary of the end of World War 1. This occasion is celebrated every year in November 11.Veterans day is a day that is celebrated in honor of the VETERANS who served this country. It’s important to show honor because men and women show bravery and are willing to give up their lives to serve the U.S. These are 5 ways to show honor to the Veterans:

• Teach your children about Veterans Day and how thankful we should be for the service of our soldiers.
• Always send a “thank you” note
• Remember our veterans all year long not just on Veterans Day!
•  Write a blog post about how you thanked a veteran today
•  Say the Pledge of Allegiance today.

Many millions died in the war to serve the U.S Air Force and this is why we are thankful to our country. I am truly thankful for the veterans and will never forget the veterans actions
